Brookville Lady Devils Soccer 2026 OHSAA Division IV District Runner-Up — Congratulations Brookville Lady Devils Soccer 2026 District Runner-up

The 1976 Brookville Football team went 10-0 in the regular season. They were the first Brookville Football team to win an SWBL Title. They were the first SWBL and Montgomery County team to make the OHSAA Football playoffs.

Brookville would upset the Top Ranked New Lexington Panthers 6-0 in the State Semi-Final game at Welcome Stadium. Then Brookville finished as State Runner-up, losing to Elyria Catholic 34-10 at the Akron Rubber Bowl in the State Championship game.

Back in 1976 there were only three Divisions, not seven like today, and only one team from each region — four per division — made the playoffs.

This picture shows those team members who were able to make a 50th anniversary celebration of that season.
